With deep regret, the Gone West of; Capt. Dave Norland 11-28-07. There will be a Celebration of Life of Dave on December 12th in Denver, Colorado with details of place & time, etc. forthcoming. He had put up a valient struggle with ALS, commonly known as Lou Gherig's Disease. He was quite a character and will be missed by all who knew him.

Dave was a retired Frontier Airlines Captain and one-time owner of P-51 SN 44-74230, "No Name Dame"", now "Gentleman Jim". Dave raced this airplane at Reno in 1975 & 1976.

I was in touch with Dave back around 1990 with the hope to visit and see his maroon P-51D. Unfortunately I never made it and he planned to send me some photos of it later. Sad to hear about this. RIP...
