Got the info from Sully and Old Sar. Thanks very much. As I suspected the new battery is 12 lbs heavier than the GC one that was in there when we weighed the plane to compute CG, so we will have to make some adjustments, 12 lbs in a 7000 lbs plane may not sound like much, but when it is far aft behind the rear seat it makes a difference.

But don't you also have lead in the tail that can be removed to make up for that? I don't know why, but I thought for sure your airplane had some ballast installed in it at some point in it's life and that it was still there. Maybe I'm thinking of the wrong airplane.

Does this mean the 185# limit in the rear seat is going to be lower?

Darn Gary, you are pretty smart for a radial guy. Yes, there is one weight plate in the tail, so Tim can machine that down. Thanks for the help, guys I had searched the internet to no avail since that model seemed discontinued.
