Does anybody here know who's making the new P-40 parts in Russia?

There was an initiative being set up by Jim Wickersham of Shadetree Aviation, but this ended up being unsuccessful according to my Russian contacts.

well thats one way to get screwed, goto russia to get parts at good prices but do it through a western company looking to jack the prices way up......... :)

almost any russian company will build them for you if you supply drawings.

an example would be a quote for a 109g rudder in australia was 17k usd, in america it was 20k usd, in russia its 2400 usd and thats just one quote. 8)
