What Ever Happened to RAAF A27-310?

Fri Nov 12, 2004 10:39 pm

I have the Aero-Engine Log Book for this Aircraft, being a Wright Cyclone type with series number CR2600 - A5B5, makers number 35902. Last entry on the certificate pages is dated 18 June 1948 indicating it was at C&MU RAAF Narrandera NSW. The last modification this engine received was on the impellor locks 24 December 1942. While the engine certificate accounts for its time at Narrandera from 1944 to 1948, there is no information about this Vengence between 1942 to 1944. Very interesting book although limited to the engine maintenance side of things.

Would be interested to see if anyone has any details on this particular aircraft.

cheers

Digger :)
