Does anyone know the status of this SPAD?? It's part of the Anders's Heritage Museum in Bellingham, WA.

It has been owned and flown by Eric Vormezeele in Belgium for many years (first flight 26 Nov 1985) until Heritage Flight Museum bought it recently. I don't know what their plans are for it.

If the Air&Space mag article is any indication it will be beautifully restroed and flown on occasion - I wish I had the underpinning Mr. Allen does

This is a different aircraft. Your thinking of Paul Allen's Flying Heritage College in Arlington. This one being to Bill Ander's Heritage Collection in Bellingham which is 35 miles or so up the road. I heard that it was assembled and ready to fly but were working on a FAA approved pilot qualification program.
