G' day everyone, I'm Phil from Oz. I am new to this forum

As you can probably gather the 262 is just one of my favorites :D , But I stress the point I like all aircraft and don't descriminate between maker's or countrys  .
If it has flown in the past or is still flying now I like it.
I don't really like debates on past war's, Yes we must remember the sacrifice's made for our freedom and never forget this.
But I get sick of the finger pointing, such as but they did this and that, and that's why we must kill them off  .
Human's have had that attitude for thousand's of year's kill or be killed, It was a waste then and still is NOW :( .
Now let's stick to just enjoying the beauty and wonder of flight.
Cheer's all, Tally Ho! Phil. :)

Welcome Phil

I have followed a few of your quizzes over on Flypast, and always good to have a fellow 262 fan on board.

Hey Phil,
Great to see you've ventured into this neck of the woods after being a regular on FlyPast for a while. There's a great bunch of people here. Of course this now means that I've got two forums on which to convince you to make a trip up here during summer. We'll have to try to organise something with some of the others. Anyway, enjoy the WIX mate. I'm sure that you'll be made most welcome and that you'll be able to add to the interesting discussions.

Cheers,
Matt

Welcome aboard! You can't upload photos here directly from your computer. The pics have to be already stored on a webpage somewhere and you have to link up to them using the Img tags.

Hi Phil,
I have also noticed you on FP. Glad to see yet another downunder connection on this forum. Thats why I recently joined as WIX seems interested in the goings on down-under.

Hi
I'm a Flypast refugee.
My name is Andy Jones and I live in Bedfordshire in the UK (hence the name) . I've lurked here for a while but finally decided to join.
Basically I'm nuts about aviation and associated topics.
I also collect Putnams aviation books (anyone got Miles Aircraft they want to sell   ) and I buld 1/350th scale model ships--allegedly.

Well that's me.

Cheers
Andy

Yes, that's the one thing I like about WIX over FP is the more interest in down-under (OZ & NZ) happenings.
Just cause we ain't int he Northern Hemisphere, doesn't mean we have a lacklustre interest in warbirds. Quite the opposite !!
