i subdcribe to 7 warbird magazines, thus my subscription info is sold boundless times. thus i receive catalogs / junk mail by the forklift full. it's all fun to look through, but the collectables industry is in hurt bacause of lack of expendable income & people aren't into dust collectors. i'm a merchant, i know, with 30 + years in a family business that goes back 48 years. i'll say 1st that the aviation collectables being produced are 1st class as to quality & detail. the die cast models, their lines, etc. pilot figures / sculptures are right down to the pours of their skin. the only junk out their are the phillppine mohagany models, & the knock off memorabilia such as medals, uniforms etc. great for the re-enactor though. asside from the models, a cottage industry of fakes & fraudulent sellers have surfaced. be careful out their!! CAVEAT EMPTOR!!
