Denver's Wings over the Rockies Museum

Thu Jan 17, 2008 12:48 am

I'm in Denver for business this week and found the time to go and visit this fine museum.

Nice collection ! I really enjoyed. Took about 150 pictures which will eventually end up on-line on my site.

... If I can only finish the major revision I am working on already ! :?

Would love to see them.
It really is a great place to visit and the staff is very nice!
I haven't been there since last Feb... And I know they have done some remodeling.

Look forward to your post!

That my friend is an understatement ! I was welcomed by them just as if I was a celebrity or something. Genuine warm welcome and desire to make your visit as enjoyable as possible.

I had a very nice talk with three volonteers that were manning the welcoming booth for about 30 minutes before I even had my first look at the collection ! It was truly enjoyable.

As to posting these pictures ? Hmmm, I'm afraid it's gonna take a little while. I am still putting the finishing touches to the 07 Season pictures on my web site and it's turning out to be more work than I anticipated. Big update !

Stay tuned, I should soon be able to announce the update is done and online. Then I'll have a look at these pics and see what I can do.

Mike,
Thanks for the kind words and the publicity! I have been a vol there for over 12 years. We try to do the best we can with what we have. As you said we have a great staff and super volunteer group.
Thanks,
Hugh
