Stearman at QIAS 1994

Fri Nov 19, 2004 1:21 pm

I am going through some old photos. I am looking at my photos from the Quinte International Air Show (Trenton) in 1994. A Stearman was at the show. My shot of the Stearman is far from a good photo, but I would still like to know which airframe it is. Were any WIXers at that show?

Also looking for the serials of the following types at that show...
-> Aerospatiale HH-65A Dolphin of the USCG
-> McDonnell Douglas F-15E Strike Eagle
-> McDonnell Douglas CF-188 Hornet

TIA

Mike

Mike,

The Stearman is C-GPTD 75-5315 built in 1943 and is owned by Bill Coyle. Bill is also a member of the Great War Flying Museum in Brampton.

Cheers,

Eric
