Precious Metal at GML

I am writing a small piece about GML for a Norwegian newsletter and wonder about something. I remember on the Sunday this guy sitting on the wing of Precious Metal talking to people saying that he hoped they would be able to make a high speed run with it after the show in the evening. I had to leave around midday so never got to see if it happened or not. Did it?

When Shannon asked them when they were leaving, they told us they would not fly it until Monday around 9AM. We needed to be at the Zoo that morning to have enough time to see everything before our flight home.
