C45-G

I have been looking at a C45-G for years now and finally had the time to get through the fence and find a data plate. There is no N number, it probably was on the rudders which were removed. I am looking for someone out there that might know of a database for looking it up by serial number. Since it's military, Beech will not even acknowledge that it exists. Any help would be appreciated.

Rick,

I'm presuming this means you have a picture of it, and aren't actually the owner? At the least your going to need to describe the planes markings, location, and/or possibly a picture.

Robert Parmerter published a great book called Beech 18: A Civil and Military History, which I have, but you need to give us more clues.

The plane I am talking about wears a civilian paint job now. There are no markings, save to say "Sports Travel Club" on the side. All I found was the factory data plate, with type, serial number and date on it. That's why I am hoping someone has made a data base to cross reference from. It's probably a lost cause, but I am trying.

If it's the one @ the South East corner of BFI by the State Aeronautics Offices, check with South Seattle Community College up on top of Boeing hill, they have a lot of stuff sitting around on the field, at one time had a circus wagon STOOF and an F-227

Ah, came across this thread after answering the previous one on the subject. This bird is C-45G 51-11663, which is still registered as N9660C.
