White leather helmets.

Sat Nov 27, 2004 10:59 am

Hello!

I am looking for a supplier of 30's style white leather helmets. I display a PT22 in the UK and feel that the white helmet will be more authentic.

I would prefer it not to be modded to accept electrics - a simple 'non-radio helmet is all I want.

I dont want one of those hard shell jobs either.

I believe I'll need to look in the USA - I don't think that they are available off the shelf anywhere in the UK..??

Any help will be appreciated.

You could also try 'Campbell Aero Classics NZ Ltd' they make classic helmets that are individually tailored.

Hi Flattie,

I contacted them a while back and got a negative. Maybe they then decided that they ought to do one and of course hadn't kept my details!

Thanks for the heads up - I'll contact them straight away for a lookandsee.

We have a hopeful in the States too as you can see so again thanks to all contributors.
