Agree. As they're still in production and in service with over 50 nations (probably more, I just remember 50...), I think that use of present tense is more than appropriate. :)

I couldn't agree more, I've been in C-130 units for 16 years now, great bird, heck ours are all '64 models and still going strong. Guess I'm kinda biased also!

I have to disagree!

It is too cramped in that bird!

Particularly when you have 54 combat loaded paratroopers stacked in there. On the first pass, I was the last jumper and had to have someone in the second pass check my static line 'cause I couldn't turn around! Hell, I was standing on guys that were sitting, waiting for the second pass!

Now the C-17...there is a nice bird! Lots of room! Very nice!

That is such an amazing event. That very aircaft is preserved in the Naval Aviation Museum!!
