I have a few pictures of the Cutlass that was being rebuilt at the Seatlle Museum of Flight restoration hangar. Same one you are thinking of?

That reminds me - Earl Reinert had an F7U forward fuselage in rough shape (fire damage?) ex-NAS Glenview; where is it now?

Oh yes... the wing looks like a TON of work. Cant imagine trying to duplicate that process for the rebuild of one aircraft. I'll dig thru my pictures from when I was in Seattle a couple years ago when I return from vacation and post them.

I think the USS Hornet at Alameda is getting a F7U. I can't ssem to get on the site right now. I'm not sure where that one came from.
