Did you guys see the new Air Classics? there is a picture of a corp. converted A-26 down in Mexico that needs to come home, :D looks like it has been sitting along time. Anyone know the history of this aircraft?

Me thinks it is this one:

OMG!

what did they do to the cockpit?? is that an onmark conversion of some sort...?

If I am reading Scott's posting correctly, the magazine article is about an A-26 in Mexico while the link to the warbird registry, shows an A-26 in Santa Teresa, New Mexico

I doubt that it could be the same aircraft, because when I saw it last in 2006 in Santa Teresa, NM, it looked as if it would not be immediately flyable / ferryable:

Who cares about Clowns! I just want to know what is up with that cockpit?

Has to be one of the ugliest things I have seen in a long time.

Thats the one! Looks like a type-O in Air Classics. The windows for that conversion came from a DC-6 I'm told. I think the old Corp. birds are just cool.
