B-26 Marauder prop. reference ?

Fri Dec 10, 2004 7:04 am

Does somebody know the exact type of the B-26 Cutiss Electric propeller and if that propeller has been used on civilian airliners ?

That info would help a french amateur artist mother of two who baught in the US a raty B-26 prop. and is not entangled with the French Custom which states that the prop, being "war/weapon equipment" needs a special import permit… they threaten to destroy the prop if she can not show this permit of proove it is not necessarily a "military equipment"…

I don't know myself, but you might try contacting the people at the Aircraft Engine Historical Society.

Best of luck! Can't believe they'd be so ignorant of the nature of this clapped out propeller.... just too bad!

Cheers,
Richard
