Curtiss C-46 freight hauling this week

This past week, while on a work trip to Red Sucker Lake in northern Manitoba I had the good fortune to see a Curtiss C-46 come in and depart while it was on a freight haul trip to these air access only communities.

Thanks for the pictures. It is amazing seeing these one of these grand old ladies still earning it's keep. A real testament to the design that it is still working and obviously still financially viable. Canada has had a rich history with ex-warbird types still flying and working . Long may it continue.

Many thanks for these shots. Lovely photos. I've always had a soft spot for the C-46 too. Is this a Buffalo Airways C-46?

Cheers,
Richard
