This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

Does anyone out there know what is going on with “My Gal Sal” the B-17E recovered from Greenland. Its been a while sense an up date has been given on the website.

Also; what about “Swamp Ghost”. Any hope to see that back in the states? I see that Mr. Tallichet has / had recovery rights (in 99). What became of that?

My understanding is that "My Gal Sal" is moving slowly but surely. I have heard concerns about how long Blue Ash Airport will be around, but then again, I've been hearing that for 15 years. If Blue Ash does close in the future...it would be neat to see the B-17 move to the Tri-State Museum at Clermont County.

I looks like they have been doing a great job on her. I really can't wait to get a chance to visit. It would be kinda nice to see it along with some other warbirds.
