Are there any Pe-2s in existence?

Projects

A while back, there were a pair of projects for sale here in USA. They were sold and I didn't see any more about them. Sorry, I can't remember where I saw them. It was on-line somewhere and they were originally advertised on barnstormers.

They could have been Tu-2s

Here is a list of surviving Pe-2s
1 in Russia
2 in Poland
2 in US (Weeks? and War Eagles Air Museum)
1 in Chna
1 in Bulgaria

Mr. Weeks and War Eagles own Tu-2's, not Pe-2's.

Sorry, I meant to say Tu-2. It should have read "Here is a list of surviving Tu-2s."

Preserved Pe-2s

Hi,

I can add some...

There's at least 5 in China if I remember correctly. 4 at the air force museum, two inside the tunnel in good shape and two outside, semiderelict but restorable. One at the Technical university Museum - the museum wich had the P 61.

There's twp Pe-2's in Norway, one is with the museum in Bodö. The cockpit section is more or less restored and at least one engine. Remains of fuselage and wings are there too, but they do need some job before going on show...

There's a second Pe-2 stored at the Museums premises in Bodö for a private person.

Best wishes
/Mikael
