I went for a ride on Yankee Lady and it was an absolute blast. A big thanks to the YAM for such a nice experience.
I also got to see and listen to Bud Anderson tell a few stories up on the stage. He was a real hoot. Seems to be a great guy. He looked good too. I was tempted to buy an "Old Crow" model in the swap meet and ask him to sign it, hehe.
I also got to speak with Bob Bolinder, a P-61 pilot, and get a signed picture. Again, a very nice guy.
I'll let the pics speak for themselves.
Here is a former Marine Corsair pilot, I believe he said he flew with VMF-114 during WWII and a VMA during Korea.
