I'd like to buy Flight Time at Osh

Tue Jul 15, 2008 12:13 pm

I am planning on going to Oshkosh in my Bonanza. While there I'd very much like to buy, beg, borrow, or barter some pilot time in a few warbirds. I'd especially like to get Stearman, Chipmunk, T-6, and or P-51. I am open to all offers. I can pay for the time, or possible trade as in providing a room for those interested in vacationing in Aspen, it is beautiful now through early Oct. I am seeking actual stick time, not just a ride, but of course never turn down a fun chance. Thanks

If your ever over this side of the world Bill give me a yell, you can come fly some of the machines here.

Chipmunk (due to fly soon), Tiger Moth, Fox Moth, Dragonfly, Rapide, Proctor, and many more in the pipeline. Just no Stearman, T6, or P51.

If you like Pommie aeroplanes then we got'em.

Good to hear you're returning, Bill. We'll be sure to save you some deviled eggs at Zack's.

Just a thought: Mark Clark at Courtesy has a number of aircraft ferried up from Rockford each year. Perhaps he could make use of your services?

Gald that you will be there Bill. I look forward to seeing you at the WIX Party on Thursday.

not to be a jerk, but just be aware of the legalities involved. experimental planes can't be used for hire, right? certified planes used for hire need 100 hour inspections, etc. the faa looks on this very seriously, compensation takes on all forms, as in beg barter etc. especially on a public forum. (I swear I'VE NEVER EVEN HEARD OF MARVEL MYSTERY OIL . . .)
