Anybody know about these SB2C wrecks?
1 in Otay Lake, CA
several off Hawaii
3 or 4 in the Marshalls
1 in a lake in Japan (I read about it in a book called Flyboys)
What is there status? Are there any more?

Here is some info on the upper and lower Otay reservoirs:

http://www.socalbass.net/lakes/otay.html Looks like this is a well known fishing hole, so I would be surprised that a readily identifiable aircraft wouldn't have already been discovered with a 3D fishfinder.
http://www.sdfish.com/lakes/otayupper/ Upper Otay does not allow boats. You would have to tow your sonar from your inner tube.
You might want to contact fish and game to see what they know- assuming this is the same Otay Lake.

Bureau Number 19886 (VB-14) ditched in Otay Lake, CA 5/28/1945.
