Hello all,
I'm looking for pictures of the mig-15 or mig-15 bis or yak-17 cockpit to see for myself if there is captured german equipment in it.
I have heard the stories many times but never saw a decent picture of german installed equipment,
please help,
Arjan

I can't think of any German equipment in the 15UTI and I'm pretty sure we didn't take anything German out of the MiG-17F. I've never been in a straight 15 or 15 bis, but the type rating is the same as the 17, so I would imagine the cockpits are laid out pretty much identical.

I'm not talking about major instrumnets but more about switches, landing gear switches and light switches.
My friend swears he saw them in it when he flew them before the they had to be handed over to the USSR again. He also claims that he flew a russian plane with Jumo written all over the engine.
Anyway thanks for the reply,
Arjan
