Air-to-air with David Price's Cottonmouth

Sun Sep 07, 2008 10:58 am

Here are some shots taken yesterday of David Price's Mustang "Cottonmouth". Steve Barber was flying it. The photo ship was an SNJ-5. This airplane is a looker on the ground. It's gorgeous in the sky!

Thanks guys. The weather was perfect and the photo ship pilot, Terry Cedar did a great job keeping us steady.

Great photographs, Eric....any more (I do air to air as well, and 2 or 3 pics just is not enough, 'specially a Mustang)

I will be posting more to my website when I get done with the rest of the stuff from Saturday. They commemorated the Batlle of Midway with a presentation and flyovers. The P-51 photo flight was after the event.

Very nice Eric - it's nice to see a plane I've rarely seen in flight shots of. Looks like it was a great day up there too!

Thanks for sharing with us!

Eric.....PM your website, would like to see more of your work...I keep some up on Flickr at www.flickr.com/jlittle2 (I am just now after 12 years getting my website up and running).

Technology, just can't keep up with it !

Thanks again guys. The weather was perfect and the skies were smooth for the photo flight, more than a photographer can ask for. Plus it is a lot easier to shoot out the left side of the airplane because of where the grip and shutter is. John, if you click the www button under my posting here, it will take you to my website, or just go to http://www.vg-photo.com

I took a look at some of your Flickr images, nice stuff. 8) I have a pilot/mech friend in Lakewood that is restoring a Piper Cub. He isn't far from the inaugural flight. You can send me an e-mail from my site if you want to get an introduction.

Cheers! Eric
