I am going to be helping with the restoration of the F-102 that is on display at the 171st ANG base here in Pittsburgh. Is there anyone out there interested in photos?

Well, the aircraft was displayed on a stand. It has since been taken down. THe nose cone has been removed because the towbar wouldn't fit. She is now in a hangar and being taken apart. THere is a good deal of corrosion in it, but even more bees!!!

Slightly off-topic, but the fuselage of C-130A 57-0469 used to be in use as a trainer with the ANG. I've not seen it reported since May01, any idea if its still there?
Also, I assume the A-7D, F-84F and F-86L are all still preserved?

YEah, the A-7, F-84, and F-86 are still there, and the F-84 was painted not long ago. There are also two full scale fiberglass replicas of a P-47 and a P-51.

Thanks for the update. Any sign of the C-130A?

The C-130 was cut up into sections. The wings were used to teach mechanics how to make repairs, and the fuselage rear is used to train medical personel how to exit the aircraft. It was an A model that did not get the Spar AD done to it as it did not have a glass cockpit and they did not wish to upgrade this airframe. It was going to be donated to Air Heritage in Beaver Airport, but politics got involved and it never took place. it was offered to a few places, and no one seemed to want it, so they cut it up, and used it for training. It is still a sore spot with me as our museum could have had it delivered to our door, but our museum couldn't get their act together.
