Not really sure why a Tex ANG Voodoo is in Ohio...

Rust on the MLG legs. All the openings for the gearwells (front and main) have been covered over-not sure if it's part of the airplane or just added sheet metal.

Head-on

I tried calling ahead, but I think I underestimated how big this airport is-I got transferred to some Communications person's voicemail; I left her a message, but I didn't get a call back until after I'd taken the pictures-oh well. Because I was unable to really talk to anyone (no fault of the airport's, of course, they've got a lot more stuff to deal with than, say, the people at Lunken do) I was unable to ask about the F-86 and T-33-sorry Mike :(. I would have taken more, and looked for both of them, but my Dad (who was driving) was in a hurry, so I only took a few. I'll certainly be back, however, since it's pretty much on the way to Cincy/Northern KY.

The paint is chipping pretty badly on the nose

The camera is a Kodak EasyShare C875, for the curious. I wish I could have got the flash to work, as a lot of my shots of the MLG legs are pretty dark.

Nice to see the Texans represented in Ohio :?:

I have some shots of Voodoo's landing at Ellington in the early 80's, I think they have this paint...they're not very good but I'll have to dig them out anyway.
