Hanscom AFB Photos 2002 TEST

Hi I am trying a test post of photos from the last Hanscom AFB Air Show in 2002. I hope it works. Any comments appreciated. I tried to follow the guidelines from the sticky post.

Why did they post side by side and not one under the other?

Hit enter after you paste each shot and stack them vertically.

Cool - nice to see a shot of "LoLo" on here. I flew right seat on the flight out of Hanscom to Fitchburg with Rob Collings... probably only a day or so after these were shot

Hopefully we will see another show at home sometime soon.

Believe it or not the guy I know who is most wired in regarding Hanscom and an air show is the local UPS driver. He is always reminding one of the colonels that there should be another show. There is some interest in the powers that be but whether that will become action is unclear.
Apparently one of the last commanders didn't even like airplanes let alone airshows. Another thing is that the local base maintenance squadron was stood down in favor of hired vendors. Without a maintenance squadron to volunteer to the grunt work it becomes way more expensive to hold a show.

That was one of the main airshows I went to when I was growing up (still working on that part). Thanks for posting.
