About 2 weeks ago I emailed Red Bull and asked if they did in fact purchase the P-38 "White Lightning". I did hear back from them (Red Bull North America) and they responded by saying Red Bull DID NOT purchase the P-38. So with conflicting info regarding this P-38 as indicated here on WIX earlier this year, did they or didn't they purchase it?

Last week I recieved an email from Harold Reiter of Red Bull. I had contacted him in regards to White Lightning as their recent acquisition and was asking if he could shed some light of their plans for her. He didn't say much, just to be pateint and he thanked me for my interest. I never got the impression that they did'nt own her just that they were biding their time as when to come forward with the details.

Thanks Shay. I kind of thought it was something like what you said.

I know I just posted this under a different subject line but thought this one would be more appropriate. White Lightning has been sold to Red Bull as of January 12th. You can check it out at the website of the P-38:
