Mystery SE-5

Someplace in the UK there is a Royal Aircaft Factory SE-5 on display with the markings "B4863". My question is "Where?"

I have a picture at the house of the one there, I can post it tonight.
And the one at Duxford, I think that is one at lest.

The RAF Museum aircraft was once marked as B4563 which is close but it's now F938. Shuttleworth have F904 and the Science Museum have F939. I don't think there are any other originals in the UK. IWM don't have one - the one that was at Duxford was privately owned (restored for Patrick Lindsey) and is now in the US.
As B4863 was McCudden's one of the scale replicas is probably marked as such.

This might be the Patrick Lindsay SE, which iirc was actually an Eberhard SE-5E built stateside. I have a couple pix of it taken in 1989 at Booker (Tony Bianchi was storing several ex-Lindsay aircraft there); will check and see whather it is indeed in the McCudden markings...as is mentioned above, that SE moved back to the USA a while ago.

Oh well, I got motivated to find some photos so here's the SE-5E in late 1993 at Duxford just before it departed for America

Thanks for the pic, Tony. Love the very small lady in the cockpit! 
I believe that the SE-5e is still in the US Army museum at Fort Rucker, along with the Nieuport and Camel that operated from Old Warden one memorable summer. A sad waste of some lovely airworthy WWI aircraft.

I dont' think so! - The Nieuport is certainly the former flyer, much lamented, but the Camel is definitely a replica and I'm sure the SE-5 is too.
