Warbird operators engaging in sporting activity - a ban ???

Hi I think there should be consideration given by the FAA or whatever it's called now in the states to banning well known forum members and warbird pilots from engaging in additional sporting activity such as - sking for instance.
Apparently this happened recently resulting in a damaged Forumite and pilot - I am not prepared to name my sources here but trust me it happened and should be banned - a nice sedate sport like warbirds shouldn't be interferred with by racous sking or marbles etc

It could be... if maybe it were a timed sport. For example how long from lifting the a beer off the table, pouring it down your throat, and returning it to the table. New olympic event?

Please observe due reverance if you are coming to Australia - Drinking beer is not a sport/pastime/health issue - it is more akin to a religous observence and there are "churches" for the participation in these rites here called "Pubs" (Public Houses) where the faithful congregate to follow their chosen path. As with all religions there are different Faiths here I personally am a follower of the Coopers red label Faith but when I go to Pub I also practice VB - Other popular faiths at Pub include XXXX and Fosters but there are many faiths a visitor can sample and fear not Mr Patterson I will educate you in our ways as will the Kiwi Boys to their own Pub Faiths.

Thank-you for those words of enlightenment Father Parker. I do believe I have seen the error of my ways. Perhaps one day I will go on a pilgrimage to the great down under and see if I can find such a glorious religious experience for myself like the one you speak of.

A 1000 K drive - no worries - we do that before breakfast here - just because you are winged doesn't mean we won't strech your travel envelope - No we won't be driving to Victoria. We have planes here and if JDK has the common good manners to let me know his phone No I will include a visit to him in Melb on the way.

hello setter, 1, either pardon my ignorance or please elaborate further your statement on this topic. what does a warbird pilot's extra curricular activitities have to do with flying vintage warbirds?? it seems redundant as a topic. please don't misunderstand this reply. i look for & read your comments on anything with the highest respect!! i am an avid fisherman..... does that mean that 43 years of casting a rod & reel will inhibit my piloting of a plane / controlling the stick?? or opening cans of beer affects my pushing a button or flicking a switch on an instrument panel?? regards, tom
