For any Cessna UC-78 / Bobcat Lovers

For any Cessna UC-78 / Bobcat lovers amongst us, you really ought to check out this thread on another forum. It's pretty neat. http://www.military-meshes.com/forums/s ... hp?p=37619
I'm still interested in pictures of similar aircraft in the war zones. Several of these aircraft were assigned to liaison squadrons.

I loved the one the CenTex Wing once had. Only drawback was the wooden spar, which was the downfall of N64513, the UC-78B that is now with the National WASP Museum in Sweetwater, TX.

Oh, my, the ol' Bamboo Bomber. I've been in love with this aircraft ever since I read Richard Bach's article about James Kramer and his T-50, back in 1970. (How's THAT for showing my age ... )

One year later, at Oshkosh, no less than Bette Bach herself introduced me to both James and the T-50 in question. Quite a thrill for a 15-year old kid. That was Oshkosh in the early days ...

I couldn't wait for every Sunday @ Noon so I could watch 'SKY' and Penny. i found the series online earlier this year, 63 programs, I remember a fair number of them, I was flabberghasted to see how lousy the acting was in them, but at the time, there were very few airplane oriented programs on TV. Pretty heady stuff for an 8 year old kid-
and I don't mind showing my age, after all, I was on the committee for dust :P :P :P
