According to my slightly questionable sources, an unidentified large elf flying an unregistered (no N-number) reindeer powered sleigh was intercepted in the Washington DC ADIZ, and forced to land at an unspecified small airport nearby. Subject was carrying numerous bags of toys, bikes, etc. He also could not produce proper documentation to support his AERL (Aircraft, Eight Reindeer, Land) certification.
A check was made of all sources to confirm his identity, and it came from the highest authority that "Yes, he was really, really real!" and that a certain GWB had written asking for world peace(and a train set), and delivery was expected tonight.
A waiver was granted for all applicable FARs regarding his sleigh, a temporary AERL certificate was issued by the FAA following a short check ride, and flight plan for the Washington DC ADIZ approved, with a transponder code of 1225.
Said elf was then allowed to continue on his way, leaving the FAA and Secret Service with the words "Ho-Ho-Ho! Merry Christmas to All, And to All A Good Night! (friggin ADIZ...)" He then proceeded to bust minimums, and made close contact with several houses en route to Pennsylvania Ave.
