There may be the opportunity for sponsors on a potential T-28 Trojan project through the Warbirds Unlimited Foundation in Mesa, AZ. Currently the aircraft is in AZ and will need some work, but it is a short-term to flyable aircraft and will be based in Mesa, AZ at Falcon Field when flying.
All proposals may be considered -- including potential pilot-qualified plane sponsors depending on flight experience qualifications.
It is a great opportunity to keep a local warbird operating locally with a great foundation for a small initial investment.
