JR'S B-17 in Pekin IL in 1970's

JR. brought his B-17 from Paris TX to Pekin IL in the early 1970's. The plane was still in the marking it wore in the 1000 Plane Raid movie.

Thanks for sharing. Since his place was close, and I was young, it never occurred to me to take pictures. I have been there many times, but have no pictures.

Does anyone (besides me) remember an old sports show from the mid '70s in which rodeo rider Larry Mahan visited Jr's place? They flew in a Stearman, the 17, and a P-51. I recorded it on audio tape..unfortunately consumer VCRs weren't around yet.
