New update on 1940 jet flying helmets.

I doubt few remain nowdays outside the people who collect these rare flying helmets.

Numbers indicate there was around 200-500 flying helmets made of various types for testing in P-80A/B, F-84A/E, F-86A and other types at various airfields in 1946-1948.

Beside the few people i know in US and Europe who own such a rare P-1, there could be the remarkable potential for these to still exist after 62years somewhere.... Just like warehouses still with brand new parts from WW2 and ex servicemen etc holding on to items...

If anyone knows anyone with such a helmet, they would be smart to get it out and check it for historical value, because these thing are worth potentially anywhere from poor $500 to $5000 US brand if found.

Last time on ebay in 2002 when i saw a original issue P-1, it went for over $3500 US.
