Alaska Trip ...

Since the weather has been warmer in Alaska ... than Ohio... the wife and I decided to take aTrip .... and look what we found.

This is what we saw Flying before going fishing .... Kinda Cold.

Good one!! I remember a couple of years ago a couple of friends and I were hiking along a river valley in the highlands of Scotland, very remote, when we heard a WHUMP, WHUMP, WHUMP. We looked back to see a Chinook coming up behind, and BELOW us, and it was not too deep a valley! I think the crew got a laugh at three guys trying to find cameras in their fully laden rucksacks as they shot by. I carry my camera in a pocket now, you live and learn Very cool sight though.

One of the coolest sounds in the world of helicopters is when the pilot moves the throttles from Ground to Flight on a CH-47.....will give ya goose bumps
