When I used to go to an RV park in Chula Vista, the Vikings would come over on approach to North Island NAS. They would make a noise that sounded almost like a burp. What was this and was this the only aircraft that made this sound?
thanks,

Darn airplane flying around always apologizing for something it did or was about to do, Whooops. Must be the cowling and bypass design because the A-10 doesn't make that sound but has the same engines.
