P-61 Restoration photos

Wed Feb 09, 2005 10:45 am

Took a ride and visited MAAM. Was amazed at all the aircraft
squeezed into their hanger for winter.
When I heard the sound of riveting from inside the P-61 restoration shop
I headed that way. Here are a couple of photos from yesterday.

Will It Fly?

Will this P-61 Fly, or just be another sitter? I'd love to see one of these beauties in the air, it would definitely be a show stopper!

She will fly, someday

Tim is correct. While I was there, the one thing I was told without asking
is that this aircraft will fly. Seeing the photos on display of when it was
first acquired, it has come a long way already.
