I'd love to see a 1-hour DVD where each of the most popular warbirds from WWII have their weaponry installed and ground tested. Imagine a forensic quality, HD video/audio production that allowed you to experience the differences in power, rate of fire, and general destructiveness of each setup.

Planes with dissimilar armament like the P-38 and the Bf-109 would be great a great study I think, as would some of the rarer German, Japanese, and Russian armament. It'd be great to finally get a sense of exactly what the pilots had a hold of when they pulled their trigger on the enemy.

GREAT IDEA!! I would definitely buy one. Even better, include the sights and sounds from the cockpit.
