Spring Roll Out of "Other" Restoration Projects...

Thu Feb 10, 2005 12:04 am

....Joy, joy! Warm weather and projects! Here is some hope for the brethren in the throes of winter. I rolled out the 1942 Indian 741 motorcycle, which actually has combat history overseas, fresh from its front end straightening. Next step is to make a small weld repair on the rear frame section so I can actually use the chain adjusters, and then it's on to the cabling, wiring, battery-ing, and first START! The sun was right, and it looked great next to the L5, so I thought I'd share some more of my WWII trash with you all! Come to the Spring Open House if you want to see this and "other" fun Forgotten Field stuff...

Dude, that kicks ass! I want that when I grow up too! An L-19 or L-5 and a cool bike. Thanks for the pics!

Seat is "in the pile"

When I have the open house, someone is going to get a REAL deal on parts if they find it- it is somewhere in the pile and I can't find it! And I need to get it covered! At least I have another seat to use (sans cover) when I test drive it.
