HARS is a rare organisation in the world, owning majority of large twin and 4 engined aircraft that can fly on a ongoing regualr basis.

No where else in the world can you see 3 Neptunes lined up, a Black Catalina,2 x C-47 Dakotas, a Constellation, Sabre jet, 2 x Vampire jets ....

and even more to come in future such as -

a Wirraway, 2 x P-47D Razorbacks, DC-4 ( to arrive shortly), Southern Cross replica, Beaufighter, Hawker Hunter jet, T-28 Trojan, CV-340 and a few rare items to still come.

Also on show that flew into for the day was RAN Sea King, Squirrel, Sea hawk, RAAF Hawk trainer, C-130, PC-9 Roulettes, S-64 Skycrane water bomber and a A-37B Dragonfly.

Next year i will be bringing a few surprises if all works out well to the open day. To be revealled closer to the date..

No thats the RAN museum flightgear Alpha 10B and a 1950s G helmet.

I had my RAAF 1950s display on when in Vampire and at the Cadet launch - where i got on the TV news but didnt get my own picture taken for my own records.

I was later outside at the CAC Sabre showing off the correct era flying gear for the Sabre.

OK thanks

I was just interested why there was a Russian padded tankers helmet with the flight gear
