Rhodesian Lynx?

Mon Mar 16, 2009 7:08 am

The former Rhodesia now Zimbabwe bought a group of Cessna F337s from France and configured them for FAC work. I believe they named the Lynx. The unique thing about them is that they mounted a pair of .303 Vickers machine guns on the cabin roof firing over the forward propeller. I can't find any photographs of the installation or genera views of the finished aircraft. Anyone know where I could find some?

I always thought if I ever owned a 337 I'd do it up like these.

Thanks. That's a great site. Don't know why my websearch didn't turn it up.

Didn't they also have some C-336 aircraft?
