Having made the jump over here from the Key Publishing forums (I'll be on both boards now, wanted to say hi to some folks in here that I know-Doug Fisher...how's
the weather up there? Rob Mears, see you in Connecticut...Rob Rohr-I'm working on the photobucket thing...I know lots of folks split time between the two message boards on here and at Key, so I already see a lot of familiar faces (so to speak)...likewise Mint Moore, see you at the NEXT Corsair gathering also...Mike Schneider, how much for the DVD set and where do I send the check....

The rest I'll say hi to as I see them....and looking forward to meeting the rest of you in time...

Mark-

You're in Greeley as well? I'm a college student at UNC; I don't own an airplane, nor do I fly one, but I am an avid enthusiast as a result of my Grandfather who flew with the 96th BG in WWII. Great to see someone else in town! Perhaps we can join for lunch sometime and talk warbirds...closest i've gotten to flying one was a little stick time on my uncle's T-34 when I was 10. Spent many an hour inside parked B-17's though!

Dennis
the 96th Bomb Group (H) spent most of the war at Snetterton Heath.
Fourteen miles from where I grew up.
These days the old airfield is a motor racing circuit.
There is very nice memorial window in the local church commemorating the 96th.
Cheers
Andy
