Summer job ideas

Hey all,
I was wondering if anyone had any good leads or suggestions for summer jobs involving warbirds? I'm commercially rated with almost all warbird tailwheel time including a decent chunk of t-6 time in the last year.... 20 years old and well educated, I'd figure someone would know of a nice minimum wage flying job for me to keep may-august occupied and prevent my Dad from killing me over my 100LL fuel bill.

What I wouldn't have given to have been 20 with "all warbird tailwheel" time. Man...
No ideas for a job, just envious.

I'm 19 and and all my time is tailwheel, but basically no warbird time. I'm jealous too.
The only job i can think of is banner towing at the beach. I'm thinking about trying it this summer or next. They normally pay between 7 and 12 dollars an hour. If you have a lot of tailwheel time, you will get hired, no problem. They are constantly looking for taildragger pilots. You'll fly 300-700 hours, depending on how many months you fly. Apparently it gets pretty boring except for the pick up and the release, but at least you're getting paid to fly.

I have about 600 hours, of which more or less 200 are Warbirds but only 13 or so tail wheel (185, L-19 and Pawnee...)
One day I'll climb in the Harvard!
What are they using for banner towing? I loved to fly the Pawnee, I called it the fixed-gear Corsair.

I have 0 (zero) hours of any kind,Tailwheel or otherwise.I do however have a lifetime of turning wrenches and I would sure like to turn some wrenches on a warbird or two before I buy the farm.any suggestions where I might find someone in the southern california area who might be able to use my many talents?I have already swept numerous hangers and would like to do some actual wrenching in addition to pushing a broom.Thanks, Tim

I never sweep my hangar (nor does anyone else so you are safe there!) and my T-6 project is located in Chino. I'm there most any Saturday. PM me if this interests you. Agent 86, depending on where in SoCal you might be, there are CAF wings near that are always in need of wrench-swingers. Camarillo is where SoCal Wing is, they have some neat stuff.
Jason, you may want to look into North American Top Gun, or Warbird Adventures to fly T-6's for the fighter-pilot-for-a-day crowd. You may haveta have a CFI, though. A friend of mine, since deceased, flew for NATG and wound up with over 1,000 T-6 hours.
