Strangest aircraft impressed into USAAF service

I recently saw a Grumman Widgeon in invasion stripes in one of this months magazines. It struck me as very strange and got me thinking. I know the Luftwaffe impressed any and all airworthy aircraft into some form of service. In your opinion what is the weirdest aircraft impressed into US Air Force service during WWII?

Without much research done, the P-61 jumps out in my mind.
It doesn't have the streamlined form that the P-38 does. And it's much bigger

For me it would probably be the Beech Staggerwing (UC-43 Traveler). It was kind of a rich man's play toy, not exactly what you would expect from a "Utility" aircraft. It certainly couldn't have been much of a cargo aircraft, and probably wasn't luxurious enough to cart the military bigwigs around the country.

That being said, they do look rather sporty in military markings. Would have been a nice assignement to be issued one of those!
