The two B-25s doing the flyover for the Indy 500 looked great! I know many of us have been working on arranging more such flyovers for a wide variety of sporting events with a wide variety of cool old airplanes, so it was great to see the B-25s doing this for the 500.
Good job y'all!!!

I think the young lady did a very good job on the National Anthem, also. Was great to see the -25s. I know that Larry was flying one, who was flying the other?

Great to see the B-25s in the Fly-Over. We need more of these at our events. What an honor for the crews of the Warbirds to be a part of the 500.

There is another shot on youtube from inside the raceway, a bit closer shot....but badly out of focus and too much crowd noise to hear the radials "purr"!!!

Here are my contributions. I went down to the grandstand opening next to my family's other seats to get a better angle. They came right down the front stretch from turn 4 toward turn 1.....RIGHT AT ME!!!!!!!
It made it tough to get a good angle. They went right over my head and then banked hard left toward turn 2 and didn't come back. I thought they were going to make 3 passes but the one was right on time and looked and sounded BEAUTIFUL. Fitting tribute to all our veterans.
On a side note the 3 gun salute (not a 21 gun like everyone said it was) and the tribute to the Tuskeegee airmen as well as the playing of "Taps" gave me goosebumps and had tears welling up in my eyes.
I am 29 and this was my 20th Indy 500. Its in my blood
Regards,
Mark

Larry Kelley was flying Tom Duffy's "Take Off Time". Not sure who was flying Lone Star's "Special Delivery".
Cheers,

Charlie was flying the Lone Star B-25. I agree, they were awesome and I hope this brings more interest to the Warbird World for this kind of stuff!
