I recall reading an old article in "Air Classics" I think, that talked about a B-25 that was mounted on a pedestal in a memorial cemetery, maybe in PA? Does anyone remember this or know if it's still there.

This is Cavaungh's airplane "How Boot That?" s/n 44-28925 N7687C.
After flying in Catch-22 in was sold to a veterans group in 1972 and displayed in the Pittsburgh veterans cemetary for the next 12 years or so.

The plane was flown into Washington County Airport in PA. for an airshow then put up in the cemetary.
I think it went from the cemetary to Harry Doan before Cavanaugh got it.
At the airshow I was able to go inside the B-25. It was the first warbird I ever climbed in. I remember going into the nose and grabbing the fifty caliber. Got grease all over my hands. Mom wasn't happy, I was 9yrs old.
If I ever make it to Texas maybe I can climb in it again some day.
Regards,
Mike
