End of the Florida Tour

Sun Mar 06, 2005 9:13 pm

Well..we dropped off the B-17 and B-25 at American Aero today. The Florida leg is officially over. The B-24 looks fantastic. The guys are really going all out to get her ready for the National Tour. The noseart is complete and most of the markings are on. It really looks stunning. I will post pics as soon as I get home...woo hoo 10 days in the snow!!

Cheers

Hey Jim, I saw you guys fly over my house in New Smyrna. My son and I were out there for about an hour yesterday afternoon after the planes landed. Let me know if you are going to be back out there anytime in the near future and I'll ride over and say hello.

Here are some photos from yesterday...

Hi tom, sorry I missed you. We hung out today for a few hours taking pics. I climbed a 30ft extension ladder to get on the roof of AA...to get photos...they are uploading as I speak on the webshots account.
