A friend has a recently imported SF-260AM in the U.K - what would you like pictures of?

Hi David, thank you very much for the gracious offer of pictures. I would love to have some good pics of the rear area of the cockpit, behind the seat. Pictures of the instrument panel and forward cockpit sides seem to be plentiful but I've yet to see anything of the aft cockpit. I imagine there is not much of interest back there but I need to see what it looks like in order to duplicate it properly. Also, close up pictures of the aileron and flap hinges as well as any other lumps and bumps on the undersurface of the wings would be terrific. Thanks again for the offer and for any and all help you can provide.

Chad: Something to keep in mind about 260's is that the back seat area is going to be configured differently depending on who the original purchaser was. Those pics are the first I've ever seen where the rear seat bottom is flat, and has a fixed bulkhead for the seatback.
When I worked for the civilian rep for SIAI up til 1993 or so, I'd worked on or flew in all but one or two of the ones in the US at that point.
They've got some maintenance quirks, but are a delight to fly. the controls are very nice and for most flying, it's a fingertip on the stick operation. Get the deathgrip on the stick and you can't fly it smooth at all, even under the best of conditions.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm more interested in the fuselage structure than the configuration of the seating and whatnot. I'm drawing plans for a large scale flying model and it will be up to the builder to decide how they want to detail the interior.
