Erich Hartmann, the Germans leading ace during WW2 and Group Captain Peter Townsend attained the Alton Airshow.

Group Captian Peter Townsend is on the right in the photo. The person on the left is Gene Ozella. Peter asked Gene if he was a member of the mafia since his name is Italian.




The rest of the group I was with at the airshow. We flew down in a Cessna 207 to Alton.
